Read the surface.
We start with the paver material, drainage, joint condition and any previous coating. White haze, peeling sealer or loose pavers need a plan before a new finish goes down.
Your quote defines the cleaning, sanding and sealing work. We flag any coating removal or repairs needed before sealing.

Get the preparation right.
Dirt, organic growth, oil and mineral deposits need the appropriate treatment. We clean the surface and rinse away residues so the sealer has a properly prepared base.
A clean-looking surface and a surface ready for sealing are different stages.

Give the joints attention.
Where needed, we replenish the joints with compatible sand, settle it to the appropriate depth, and clear loose grains from the face of the pavers.

Color and sheen.
Two different choices.
“Wet look” describes deeper color. Gloss describes shine. We talk through both, then recommend a test area on your pavers.
Keep it subtle or bring out depth.
Enhancement depends on the paver itself. A clear sealer can enrich existing tones; it is not a replacement for lost pigment.
Choose how much light it reflects.
Prefer less shine? Say so. Natural appearance, semi-gloss and high-gloss goals call for the appropriate product and application.
Think about how you use the space.
Vehicle traffic, wet feet, shade and irrigation all influence the recommendation. A pool deck deserves its own assessment.

Text us · 352-875-8098A color-enhancing sealer can deepen the tones that remain in the paver. It is a clear finish, so it will not replace missing pigment or disguise every stain. A test area is the best way to judge the appearance on your own surface.
Tell us when they were last sealed and which product was used, if you know. We look for compatibility, uneven wear, haze and peeling. Failed or incompatible coatings may need removal before resealing; covering them with another coat can carry the problem forward.
The joint treatment depends on the pavers and the sealer. Joint-stabilizing sealers can bind compatible conventional joint sand. Existing polymeric sand changes the application approach, so we assess it instead of automatically adding another sand product.
Sometimes the selected system and conditions allow it. Other jobs need drying time or additional preparation. For example, Trident’s Hurricane CAT 5 instructions call for dry joints and at least 24 hours after cleaning or rain when sealing with joint stabilization. We schedule around the product, drainage and weather.
Plan access before the work begins. Manufacturer guidance varies: the cited Seal ’n Lock Super Wet Look guide lists 4 hours for foot traffic and 48 hours for vehicles; ICT Next Gen lists 72 hours for heavy or vehicle traffic. Weather can extend these times. We give you instructions for the system actually applied.
Surface texture, coating build and wet conditions affect traction. We assess the finish and whether an appropriate traction additive is needed. Dense stone and pool surrounds need particular attention; a glossy driveway example is not a finish recommendation for every pool deck.
Sun, shade, irrigation, traffic and cleaning habits all affect wear. Keep debris and spills from sitting, use compatible cleaners, and have the surface checked when the finish wears unevenly. Resealing should follow the actual condition and manufacturer guidance rather than a fixed promise for every property.
