Starting with what he had
In 2012, Rich set out with a 15-year-old Ford Ranger, a wood-sided trailer he had built himself and his parents’ old pressure washer. The truck didn’t have air conditioning. The washer came with one condition: his parents’ house would always be clean.
The first jobs were houses and driveways. Between cleaning jobs, Rich sometimes emptied the trailer to haul mulch or gravel for landscaping work. Under Pressure grew through those everyday jobs, one property at a time.
The opportunity that changed the business
About three years in, a contract to clean 65 grocery stores took the company from Jacksonville to Tallahassee and south to Lakeland. Much of that work happened overnight. It was a demanding stretch, but it created room to invest in the business and lease a warehouse and office.

The setup has changed since those first driveway jobs. Today, Under Pressure brings professional equipment and a cleaning method chosen for each surface to homes, roofs, pavers, commercial buildings and equestrian properties.
It remains a veteran owned, owner operated company based in Ocala. The work has grown across Central Florida, with care for the property and clear communication at the center of every job.
